This class is mandatory  to drop into our pole fit classes.  This class is one hour long and is for those who are curious about pole dance and are beginners. It covers the basic techniques of pole and gives you an idea of what to expect in our pole fitness classes. You will learn the mechanics of how tricks work, transitional moves, moves to improve your strength, and basic pole foundation.  No dance experience is needed.  We will NOT hold spots in class that are not paid for, you must pre pay for a class and payment is non refundable. There will be no class if we are unaware you plan on coming, so call, email, or pay online. After you complete Intro To Pole you are eligible to begin to drop into any of our classes. Don't see your preferred time, gather 3 lady friends and have a private pole dancing party!  No extra charge!
Cancelation Policy

BELLYDANCE SHIMMY FIT

Belly Dance for Fitness!  Come try this new class! $7.00 to drop in

Develop flexibility, core strength, and the ultimate muscle control of a belly dancer in this fun class. Appropriate for all levels, from beginners looking to learn the basics to advanced belly dancers looking to train. Class begins with a boot-camp style warm-up, moves onto a movement drilling and combination session including a long shimmy drill, and ends with a yoga-inspired cool-down to keep those muscles long, lean, and flexible.


POLE DANCE
We will begin with strength training on the pole using pole poses and static holds.   You will learn a variety of tricks and spins, learn to climb the pole, sit, and start inverting on the pole.  Tricks and spins are taught with the beginner in mind, with options for easy to more advanced so depending on your level and strength, you will be challenged. In this class we will work on smooth transitions smooth and sensual movement.  Bring your high heels to this class if you wish or bring socks!

POLE AEROBICS! 

Pole Aerobics will work on keeping your heart rate up and a whole body workout while doing static holds, tricks and spins, climbs inverts and combinations.  No experience necessary in this class, Pole is taught with the beginner in mind and also with advanced versions to challenge the more advanced student.

Pole Burn

This class starts with strength and conditioning, using pole poses, static holds, and strength holds and work using the pole and your own body weight. Small pole combinations will be learned and done in repetition, using both sides of the pole for a good workout. Advanced students can advance their moves and also use spinning poles!  

POLE BOOT CAMP! 

Pole Boot Camp will help you blast fat and keep it off. This class is taught with the beginner in mind. Intense cardio pole fitness strength training. The goal in this class it to keep your heart rate up with spins, pole strength poses, climbing, transitional moves and floor work all while learning to control your moves to create fluid transitions and controlled pole work. Be prepared to work hard and see results. Tricks and spins are taught with the beginner in mind, with options for easy to more advanced so depending on your level and strength, you will be challenged. If you are not use to working out, this is a great way to start!        

 CLIMB SIT AND SPIN CLASS
This Class is designed to give you more practice perfecting your spins, and getting use to climbing and sitting and inverting  on the pole. We will work on breaking down spins, and perfect the technique so they flow and you land gracefully.  This class is good for level 1 and advanced students as we learn to take the spins we know, advance them. Students ready to advance will be given advanced level 2 moves.  

Spin pole is introduced in this class if students wish to work on spin pole.  Learn to control momentum and how to pose the tricks ad spins you already know on a spinning pole.


SEXY SIREN'S SPIN CLINIC

Your instructor will select a different spin each class, break it down, polish it, and fine tune it.  The spin will then be featured in a sexy routine taught during the balance of the class. All fitness levels welcome as technique and smooth execution will be emphasized. 


 

POLE WORKSHOP 
Pole Workshop is for you to take what you know, and learn to be creative and  put your moves together to make a routine.  Those who wish to turn on spin pole may do so!  Use inverts, sits, spins, transitions and floor work! We will also work on learning to create and keep momentum on spin pole, this is a fun class which will allow you to get a good workout with you moving continuously through your pole moves. Don't worry if you are not creative, we will help you.  Put together a mini routine! 


Belly Dance

Want to move like Shakira?  The original art of "sexy" dance, Belly Dance is a fun way to burn calories, work your core, get your abs in shape, and learn to move your body.  We'll learn hip circles, figure 8's, belly rolls, flutters, sexy chest pops and play with veils. Shimmy and hip pop your way to a fitter, sexier you! Drop into this class for $7.00

What To Wear?

BELLY DANCE: Yoga or gym attire is fine, as long as you can move in it, or have fun and wear a flowing skirt. Feel free to bring a coin belt or wrap.  We belly dance barefoot so it's a great excuse to get that pedicure you were thinking about!
